PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS OF PROVO

We are the IAFF Local 593 from Provo Utah.  Provo Fire and Rescue cover an area of 44 square miles with approximately 120,000 people.  Provo has five fire stations staffed with 19 line personnel on duty at a time.  The department was established in Decemeber of 1890.  Local 593 was established in December of 1938.
